CACAARI Executive Secretary consultations with Caucasus sub-regional partners and CACARI Steering Committee members in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

During 27 June- 16 July 2019 Dr. A. Tashmatov visited Azerbaijan; Baku, and Tbilisi with delivering and discussing GFAR Steering Committee’s 34th Sección meetings outcomes and recommendations for the further collective actions in CAC regional forum.

GFAR SC noted that in the meantime there is needs to refine/clarify GFAR strategy, vision, finalize MTP, and agree on profile of people in the Secretariat, in order to enable the newly appointed Executive Secretary to operate. Farmer ES Dr Mark Holderness left GFAR after 11 years in December 2018.

Meeting in Baku (30/06/2019) with Mr Jakub Gyliev – National coordinator, representing NARS Azerbaijan noted about renewing traditional regional scientific consultations meetings on research priority setting in scientific research, education and extension systems development in CAC. This core activity was mainly in the past 20 years ahead. In this regards Mr Jakub Guliyev – proposed submit the letter to the Azerbaijan ministry of agriculture regarding international regional cooperation within the countries as traditionally knowledge, information and experience exchange activity was well organized during the past 20 years, with leadership ICARDA regional office and CACAARI.

Meeting with academician Guram Aleksidze in GAAS (1/07/2019) was informative and very productive on the wide discussing recent situation in GFAR and CACAARI and further plans for the 2019.

GAAS organized capacity building training center for farmers and agricultural specialists, which can be coordination center for Georgia and Caucasus sub-region’s women farmers training program for CAC.

In addition, discussed issue related organizing regional cooperation network for workshop training program for academia representative’s socio-economic scientific research institutes as well as Agrarian Universities economic departments and  extension center’s network with supporting IFPRI.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

 The Abstract should be presented in the following way;

 The Conference accepts only electronic version of the abstract;

 The speakers are required to submit their proposals through registration.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT AND FULL PAPERS

 Abstract should be submitted in English and Russian languages. For Georgian participants - in Georgian and English languages.

 Abstract size should not exceed 300 words, it must be A4 format, Font Size must be 11 point, in 1.0. line space, and justified. Margins must be left 3.00 cm, top 2.0 cm, bottom 2.0 cm, 2.0 cm right.

• The length of the scientific paper should not exceed 6 pages, A4 format, font size 11, line spacing 1.0; Margins: left-3.0 cm, Top- 2.0 cm, bottom- 2.0 cm, right -2.0 cm.

• Font for text in the Georgian language - AcadNusx, English and Russian language - Font Face must be Times New Roman;

• Tables, drawings, etc. in the TIFF format, 300 dpi; 600 dpi; formula – Microsoft equation 2.0

 PROCEEDINGS OF THE STRUCTURE:
